P5B-Learners plan a new computer game including: Competent production schedule

P5B:

Planning and Design:

I have made a Gantt chart which makes sure I hit my deadlines, I have used a Gantt chart as as it helps me structure my 60 week target I have set and without it I would most likely go over my deadline; so it therefore keeps me organised.

Development:
The development of my game includes, concept art, script, storyline, music, testing, game improvements, marketisation, gameplay ideas, voice overs and graphics.

These key things are essential to making my game and set a clear structure of what I need to do for my game. Budget for my game: My game will have a budget of £100,000 this money is to go on the development and marketization of my game as I believe that this is a suitable budget after looking at other life-stimulation games similar to my own and after I done my research I came to the conclusion that this is a sensible budget to cover all the development sections, which I have mentioned in my Ganntt chart below.

Characters:
In my life stimulation game, the main character is who the player chooses. For example, they can create their own characters looks, you as the player to create a character of your choice, as you can pick what gender, skin tone, hair, facial features and body type you want your character to have. You can also pick what your character’s strongest trait is e.g. confident, generous, angry, impatient etc. Allowing a lot of variety when picking your character's looks and personality traits allows the player to feel like the game is more personalised to them. Other characters will be passers-by, when in the game, you as the player can pick weather you want to speak to the people in the game and create a friendship, enemy, or relationship.
There are multiple characters within my game who are based around the city of California. There are ‘extras’ set all around the game who have no relevance to my game, they are there to make the game look more realistic. They are all different and may be shop keepers, passers-by etc. In addition, there are many main characters in my game which the player can be-friend, make relationships with, or even enemies.
Here is my Gantt chart below:
