Rockstar was founded in  December 1998 by developers and the British video game producers Terry Donovan, Sam Houser, Dan Houser, Jamie King and Gary Foreman.


Rockstar games headquarters is in New York City (USA).
Parent Company: Take 2 interactive: Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. is an American multinational publisher, developer, and distributor of video games and video game peripherals. Take-Two was founded in 1993 by Ryan Brant, 1998.
Take Two Interactive is a parent company and subsidiaries are the companies who come off the parent company. Rockstar games is the publisher and the developing studios under the Rockstar label such as Rockstar North and Rockstar London.
